Solutions Parking Program at Zurich North America
For many years, Zurich North America, in Schaumburg, IL was experiencing a severe parking shortage with its more than 3,000 employees and tenants. A long term solution of building two additional parking decks on site to increase available parking was not an option since even more space would be lost during the construction.
In August, 2005, the problem was exacerbated even further after the devastating results of Hurricane Katrina as Zurich was flooded with insurance claims; the company was forced to add hundreds of additional claims contractors and was faced with an even greater challenge of having to accommodate there vehicles.
In search of a solution, Zurich called Advantage Valet. In January of 2006, Zurich North America, contracted with Advantage Valet Parking, Inc. to provide Solutions Parking at its Schaumburg headquarters. Advantage Valet designed a Solutions Parking Program at Zurich able to accommodate nearly 400 additional vehicles on site.
The solution not only increased Zurich's parking capacity, but added an attractive and convenient service for guests, employees and tenants of the Zurich Towers. With the Advantage Valet Solutions Parking Program in place, Zurich was also able to begin and complete construction of two additional parking decks.
